Early in the semester of anticipated graduation, students must complete a number of forms in order to prepare for completion of studies. These forms include the Masters Degree Audit form and an Application for Completion of Degree.
Early in the semester of anticipated graduation, each graduate student must complete a Masters Degree Audit form. This form requires you to provide a detailed listing of all courses you plan to use toward your graduate degree.

Early in the semester of anticipated graduation, you must complete an Application for Completion of Degree and pay a graduation fee. The form should be completed and either dropped off with payment at the:

or mailed with payment to the:
Graduate School

Normal, IL 61790-4040
The exact deadline for submission may be found in the Important Dates and Deadlines document on the Graduate School website.
If you apply for graduation but do not graduate as planned, your Application for Completion of Degree will be cancelled.
You must reapply for a future semester by calling the Graduate School at 309-438-2583 or going in person to Hovey Hall 309 early in the semester during which you now plan to graduate. The Graduate School will update your application without any additional fee.
A new Masters Degree Audit need not be completed unless significant changes to your course of study were made after the Masters Degree Audit was submitted and approved by the Graduate School.
Participation in Commencement is optional, but you must indicate on your Application for Completion of Degree whether or not you wish to participate. Additional information regarding commencement may be found on the Graduation Services website.
Students completing degrees in May or August are eligible to participate in the May Commencement Ceremony. Students completing degrees in December are eligible to participate in the December Commencement Ceremony.
