Telecommunication Management Certificate

This certificate is designed for IT professionals who are interested in pursuing further professional development in the Telecommunications and Networking area. Students in the program will master different telecommunications technologies and management methodologies.


Requirements

The following courses are required to complete the Systems Analyst graduate certificate:

  • IT 477 Converged Network Architectures
  • IT 479 Enterprise Telecommunications
  • One of:
    • IT 371.05 Simulation and Analysis of Internet Application Performance
    • IT 377.05 Practical Telecommunications Networking
    • IT 487 Advanced Topics in Telecommunication

This graduate certificate program assumes an undergraduate knowledge base in Data Communications and programming in a high-level programming language such as C, C++, or Java, which students with computer-related undergraduate degrees will typically have acquired. Students lacking sufficient background may be admitted to the program but should expect to complete the following course with a grade of "A" or "B" before enrolling in graduate-level courses.
