Computer Science / Information Systems Scholarship Program
In March 2010, the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for scholarships for academically-talented students who also demonstrate financial need. These scholarships, specifically available to students majoring in Information Technology at Illinois State University, can have a value of up to $5,000 annually—depending on the level of financial need. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years (a maximum of eight semesters of undergraduate study), subject to continued funding.
Scholarship Criteria
In order to be eligible to receive an award, students must meet the following criteria:
Pursue an undergraduate degree in Information Technology (i.e., Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Management, or Mathematics with an Information Technology minor) on a full-time basis at the University
Maintain a 3.0 GPA in the major and overall
Demonstrate financial need
Actively participate in scholarly and professional development activities as suggested by your designated ISU CS/IS Scholarship faculty mentor
