The IT Undergraduate Advising office is available to all IT majors and minors who have completed over 24 hours of college coursework and to those students interested in learning more about the IT program, or becoming an IT major or minor.
Both walk-in times and appointment times are available. Times vary each week due to other university scheduled events. Students are urged to make an appointment to plan schedules, discuss the IT major or minor, or complete a graduation check. During registration, advisor availability will be increased and scheduled appointments will be limited to 15 minutes. During registration, advisors will focus only on registration for the upcoming semester.
The advising office provides:
- information on academic programs in IT
- help with developing a plan of study by semester
- checks on individual progress toward graduation
- initiation of waivers and substitution requests
- reminders of important dates
- up-to-date information on course schedules and class availability
- scholarship information and forms
