We teach you a lot in the School of Information Technology but there's nothing like getting some hands-on experience. Having an internship lets you take what you learn in the classroom and apply it to the workplace. You'll build your skills, meet professionals in your field, and give your resume a boost.

Requirements

We want our students to gain a "real world" perspective and have a quality experience that enhances their education. To accomplish these goals, internship programs must meet the following criteria.

  • Tasks are related to the student's academic program and anticipated career choice.
  • The workplace serves as a learning environment.
  • The internship is on-site with daily supervision from an IT/IS professional.
  • The organization provides appropriate compensation based on the student's professional level activity.
