The School of Information Technology provides premier undergraduate and distinguished graduate programs for the education of computing and telecommunications professionals.
We offer three undergraduate bachelor's degree programs, two undergraduate minor programs, a master's program in Information Systems, and a graduate certificate program offering five graduate certificates.

IT student mentees and IT professional mentors came together at two mentorship kickoff events to meet and plan their mentorship experience for the 2014-2015 academic year.
The College of Applied Science and Technology is continuing the scholarship program to encourage professional practice opportunities for high-achieving students who wish to complete their internship with an executive, legislative, or judicial agency or organization in Washington, D.C.
Induction into the College of Applied Science and Technology Hall of Fame is an honor bestowed on graduates and friends of the College of Applied Science and Technology.
Each year the School of Information Technology (IT) provides scholarship opportunities and academic awards to IT students. The application deadline is February 6, 2015.
Each summer an increasing number of students from the College of Business and the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University serve as interns at Discover Financial Services. Many of these and other students become full-time employees of Discover upon graduation.
This year’s inductee into the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Academy of Achievement from the School of Information Technology is Eric Chandler '94.
